Frequently Asked Questions

Is an internet connection required?
Yes. Detection of AR-enabled markers and delivery of the AR experience requires an internet connection.
Is access to my device camera required?
Yes. The camera is an integral part of the augmented reality experience. Lens AR uses your camera to detect of AR-enabled markers and overlay AR content onto the world as seen through your camera. The Lens AR app will prompt you for access to your camera and will only use the camera while the app is in use.
